A historic moment for Bangladesh

A historic moment for Bangladesh!

Take the first look at an electric vehicle fully designed and made in Bangladesh!

When I was studying in the USA, people often asked me where I was from. Most of the time, my peers didn't know about Bangladesh. Those who did only knew about the floods, natural disasters, and the impacts of climate change.

I wanted to do something for my country. I wanted to change the perceptions of what people think about Bangladesh. I wanted to show the world that we have amazing talent here that can produce engineering marvels.

I know we're not there yet, but think about what we can achieve with the little resources we have.

This electric truck is about changing perceptions: what the world thinks about us, our resilience, and our potential.

It’s not just a vehicle to us; it’s a symbol that we don’t have to rely on expensive fossil fuels. This vehicle costs only 1.5 BDT per kilometer to run, compared to 8 BDT for a fossil fuel counterpart. That's an 80% saving on fuel. Imagine if we could reduce fuel costs by 80%—it would impact the price of the rice we eat.

It would reduce carbon emissions, making our city more livable. It would cut maintenance costs for companies and help them achieve their carbon emission goals.

I want to thank my first investor, TA Bhai, for believing in me. I want to thank my family for their support. I want to thank my team for their hard work day and night. I want to thank all the journalists who helped us get media attention. I want to thank Robi for broadcasting us nationwide.

Most importantly, I want to thank all my online supporters who helped us get here.

Finally, we’ve made a product we can call our own—it belongs to Bangladesh!
