Delivering V3 to Shahjuddin Sir

On September 30th, we delivered the Cityboy Version-3 car to Shahjuddin Sir. Today, I went to check how the car was doing—how it’s running, how much income it’s generating, and if there were any problems.

Most of our customers treat us like their own family. Today was no different. Sir had arranged a big meal at his home just for me. I had a full, satisfying lunch after a long time. To be honest, I had tears in my eyes while eating.

After lunch, Sir asked me to drive the car. I drove from Mirpur-12 through the Beribadh road. The feeling was hard to explain. The speed went up to 100 km/h in just moments. It felt like driving a luxury Prado. Then Sir treated me to ice cream himself. But the biggest surprise came at the end—he gifted us dresses as a farewell gift.

Honestly, we are blessed with amazing customers. The 150 km version of Cityboy Version-3 was priced at around $13,000 USD. Sir said, “Make me the 300 km version.” So I did. Then he told me, “No one should sell this car for less than $16,500 USD. Three wheeler CNG cars cost $20,000 USD in Dhaka! Why would you sell yours four wheeler with Air Condition for less?” In the end, he bought his own car for $16,500 USD.

I still don’t understand—while others try to bargain and lower the price, my customers are the ones who raise the price themselves to support the company!

Let me share a fun story about Sir.

It was December 2024. We had just received $100,000 USD in funding from Accelerating Asia, but we couldn’t transfer it to Bangladesh. We were late in paying salaries. At the same time, I needed to travel to Abu Dhabi to attend the Zayed Sustainability Prize ceremony. But I didn’t even have enough cash for a 3 Wheeler CNG ride to the airport.

Just then, Shahjuddin Sir showed up at our office. He called me aside and said, “Son, I see you as my own nephew.”

And with that, he put $500 USD in my pocket.

With that money, I went to Abu Dhabi—and came back with a $1 million USD prize.

I don’t know what my future holds. But I pray that Allah gives me the ability to help 600,000 customers like him the way Sir helped me that day.
